ArtSpot Productions is a New Orleans-based non-profit organization dedicated to the production of original multi-disciplinary performance works. Founded in 1995 by Kathy Randels to produce her solo performance work, the company has expanded to include collaborative works with artists of different disciplines. In addition to creating performances in New Orleans that tour nationally and internationally, ArtSpot is dedicated to bringing nationally and internationally acclaimed performance work to New Orleans and the U.S., and to foster opportunities for collaboration with the artists who make it.

ArtSpot works to foster a culture in New Orleans that supports and participates in the creation and execution of live original performances. The work starts with diverse forms of arts education. ArtSpot directors have taught in the New Orleans Public School system since 1995 and the Louisiana Correctional Institute for Women since 1996. They have also taught workshops at Universities and artist organizations throughout the U.S.

We believe that all stories and voices within a community need to be expressed, and that performance is an essential element of collective healing for all communities, especially for individuals whose voices are not often heard. ArtSpot seeks to revive and nurture this belief through an emphasis on the process of creation, and through the celebration of the moment of performance when artists and audience come together to witness and share their collective dreams, sorrows, joys and lives.
